We understand you may have concerns about visiting non-essential premises following the lockdown restrictions being relaxed, and we would like to reassure you that we have done everything possible to protect your health, safety and wellbeing whilst you are visiting our salon.

 

As you are aware, we already operate to the very highest standards of health and hygiene, and the safety of our staff and our customers continues to be of paramount importance to us. 

 

We are pleased to inform you of the new precautions and procedures that we have implemented in our salon, which fully comply with all Government requirements to minimise the spread of Covid-19.

 

Prior to your appointment:

  • DO NOT ATTEND your appointment if you have ANY of the Covid-19 symptoms (a new and persistent cough, high temperature, loss or change of taste or smell) or if you have been in contact with someone who has. If you have travelled from any country on the Government’s current quarantine list within the last 14 days, you will not be able to attend. All clients will be verbally advised of this on booking.

  • Please do not bring anyone with you to your appointment.

  • Please do not arrive too early/late in order to avoid too many people in our reception area.

  • Please read our attached document “Covid-19 Risk Assessment and Revised Operating Procedures” to make yourself aware of the changes we have put into place.

 

At the salon:

  • You must wear a face covering at all times from entering our salon, during your treatment and until you exit the salon.

  • You must sanitise your hands immediately on arrival using the gel provided.

  • Prior to your treatment you will need to complete a Covid-19 Health Declaration in addition to your regular treatment consultation paperwork.

  • You must try to remain at least 2m away from others.  Our reception and treatment areas have been adapted to ensure a 2m social distancing can be maintained between clients. 

  • Our payment method has not changed, and we have the facility to accept cash as well as cards.

  • No food or drink is allowed to be consumed on the premises, aside from complimentary bottled water which we will provide.

  • Our toilet facilities will unfortunately be out of use to all clients.

COVID-19 RISK ASSESSMENT AND REVISED OPERATING PROCEDURES

 

Managing social distancing

  • Our reception area and all treatment areas have been adapted to ensure a minimum of 2m social distancing can be maintained between clients. 

  • Clients are being instructed to arrive on time for their appointments (i.e. not too early or late) to avoid any potential congestion in the reception area. 

  • Clients are being instructed to come alone to their appointments.

 

Extra Hygiene Measures and Cleaning Procedures

  • Hand sanitiser is provided on entry so that all clients and staff can sanitise their hands.

  • Magazines and other non-essential items have been removed from our reception area.

  • All work stations and client’s chairs are completely cleaned and sanitised after each client.

  • All tools that cannot be sanitised are single use only and are discarded after each client.

  • All hard, non-porous surfaces such as the reception counter, computer keyboard, phones, door handles, hand rails, light switches and point of sale equipment are thoroughly sanitised on a regular basis using approved products.

  • In addition to visors, gloves and aprons will be worn where possible by staff during treatments.

  • Clients are being instructed to wear face coverings over their nose and mouth from when they enter our salon, for the full duration of their treatment, and until they have left our premises.

 

Staff Education and Procedures

  • All staff have completed industry-recognised hygiene courses prior to our re-opening.

  • All staff have been fully briefed on our new standards and procedures and are fully compliant.

  • Any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) used is single use wherever possible and is changed after each client (gloves, masks, aprons etc.)

  • All staff will be wearing a face visor at all times when in the salon.

  • Hands must be washed for 20-30 seconds after removing gloves, immediately before and after providing a customer service, before/after eating, smoking and using the bathroom.

 

Client Instructions

  • Clients are instructed not to attend if they have any of the Covid-19 symptoms (new and persistent cough, high temperature, loss or change of taste or smell) or they have been in contact with someone who has.  Clients are also instructed not to attend if they have travelled from any country on the Government’s current quarantine list in the last 14 days.

  • Clients will be asked to read our revised operating information prior to their appointment informing them of our new procedures and what to expect whilst they are in our salon.

  • Prior to their treatment, clients will need to complete a Covid-19 Health Declaration in addition to the regular consultation paperwork.

 

We have also displayed various Government safety posters and signage throughout our salon to demonstrate the steps we have taken to ensure our business is Covid Safe.

Tuesday: 10am - 5.30pm

Wednesday: 10am - 7.00pm

Thursday: 10am - 7.00pm

Friday: 10am - 5.30pm

Saturday: 9am - 5.30pm
